Job description

Locum OB/GYN - Monroe, New YorkClinical Role
  • Specialty: OB (95% OB, 5% GYN)
  • Facility Type: Out-Patient Clinic
  • EMR: eClinicalWorks
  • Hospital Bed Size: Community health centers
  • Patient Population: Teenagers & adults
Start & Contract
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: Ongoing
  • Amount of coverage needed: Minimum 3 weeks per month (typically 4 weeks)
Shift Details
  • One 24-hour hospital call in 7 days (could be any day of the week) - in-house, not pager, provider must be present in the hospital
    • Sleep room available next to L&D
    • Support available: LPN, MA, receptionists, other doctors
  • Two 8-hour clinic days per week (Mon-Fri)
Support & Workflow
  • Support staff: 5 OB providers + midwife support
  • Practice Setting: Onsite ultrasound; deliveries performed at Good Samaritan; 1500 deliveries per year
  • Patient load: 14 patients per day, every 30 minutes
Skills & Procedures
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology

  • Able to manage teen and adult patient populations
Licensure & Certification
  • Board Certification: BC only (BE not accepted)
  • State License: New York (Required, not willing to license)
