Assistant Football Coach (Running Backs/Social Media or Game Ops)

Assistant Football Coach (Running Backs/Social Media or Game Ops-Lyon College is seeking candidates for a full-time assistant coach of its football program effective immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for running backs and either social media or game ops for the athletic program. This position will assist in recruiting, practice/game day preparation, and monitoring athlete’s academic progress.  This position will understand the rules/policies of NCAA DIII, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, and Lyon College.  Additional responsibilities include teaching a limited number of physical education courses and other duties as assigned. Applicants with coaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level are preferred and an understanding of recruiting student athletes at a small, liberal arts college. A bachelor’s degree is required with a preference for a master’s degree.
