Peoplelink Staffing has partnered with one of the world’s leading global logistics providers – supporting industry and trade in the global exchange of goods through land transport, worldwide air and ocean freight, contract logistics, and supply chain management. Our client supports the logistics for a leading Austin-based electric vehicle manufacturer. Our Inventory Control Assistant positions are located in warehouse facilities along I-35 in Kyle, TX.
The Inventory Control Assistant is responsible for providing shipping and receiving needs for the department and purchasing items for the maintenance department. This includes ordering of stock and non-stock items, and processing of routine forms, reports, and documents in accordance with policy.
Inventory Control Assistant Job Summary:
- Work just 15 days per month!
- Day Shift and Night Shift ABCD Schedule
- 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am
- Wk 1 – work Sun, Mon, Thur, Fri
- Wk 2 – work Tue, Wed, Sun
- $20.00-$21.00 per hour
- Temp to HIRE
Inventory Control Assistant Duties:
- Communicate with co-workers, subordinates, and those of higher authority
- Excellent radio and phone skills etiquette
- Perform cycle counts
- Ship and receive all supplies and parts
- Purchase maintenance parts and supplies
- Distribute parts and packages to appropriate persons or department
- Maintain cleanliness of parts department and parts storage bins/lockers
- Maintain purchase orders and inventory records
Inventory Control Assistant Qualifications:
- Solid interpersonal and analytical skills
- 1-4 years of related experience
