Customer Support & Data Management Specialist – Full Time

If so, now is the perfect time to join the team at the Vermont Ethics Network as we expand to offer more support to Vermonters in the Vermont Advance Directive Registry.

The Vermont Advance Directive Registry (VADR) was established in 2007 to create a free digital repository for health planning documents for all Vermonters and immediately accessible to health care providers. Today, the VADR holds the advance directives of over 50,000 Vermonters and continues to grow every month.

Salary Range: $22-$29/hour

Customer Support & Data Management Specialist Responsibilities:

Review and process documents submitted for registration with the Vermont Advance Directive Registry, as well as processing phone requests for account updates. This position requires communicating with registrants via phone, mail and email regarding account and submission status, and providing advance directive forms and educational materials (i.e. booklets, brochures, etc.) when needed.

• Maintain accuracy and work efficiently while processing submissions of advance directives to the VADR, requests for account updates, and account transfers.

• Provide prompt and courteous responses to phone and written inquiries about VADR services and VADR account updates.

• Keep data tracking current, including number of calls and email correspondence, types of questions and result of those interactions for use in evaluating the customer support structure.

Qualified Candidates will:

· Have 2+ years of professional experience in customer service/customer support and/or data management in health systems

· Have demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Have exceptional organizational skills and a desire to implement and continuously improve successful systems

· Have experience with advance care planning tools, advance directives and medical decision-making preferred

· Have a willingness to learn new skills

· Be proficient with Microsoft Suite & Adobe Acrobat

· Be personable with excellent written and verbal communication skills
