Strategic Technology Institute, Inc. (STi) is seeking qualified applicants for a Procurement Specialist in support of Naval Sea Systems Command’s (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requirements at their research facility in Bethesda, MD.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following
Administrative managers coordinate and support services to organizations. These workers manage the services that allow organizations to operate efficiently, such as secretarial and reception, administration, payroll, conference planning and travel, information and data processing, mail, materials scheduling and distribution, printing and reproduction, records management, telecommunications management, security, parking, and personal property procurement, supply, and disposal. They also implement procedures to improve productivity and customer service. In addition, some administrative services managers acquire, distribute, and store supplies, while others dispose of surplus property or oversee the disposal of unclaimed property. They are responsible for coordinating the physical workplace with the people and work of an organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- REQUIRED EDUCATION: Individual shall possess a Bachelor’s of Science or Arts Degree in Business, Logistics or a related field from an accredited college or university with experience as outlined below. In lieu of the education requirement, individuals shall have an additional year of prior military, Department of Defense or related business experience in MILSTRIP, supply chain management, or procurement.
- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: The experience shall include one (1) year experience in processing MILSTRIP procurements. Relevant experience in a management capacity with responsibilities for procurement, customer service, and process improvements is preferred. Working knowledge of NAVY Enterprise Resource Planning N-ERP is preferred.
- Shall possess a favorably adjudicated PSI at a T3 level.
