Description The Refill Center Registered Nurse (RCRN) works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by providing excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic refill team environment. Will utilize Nursing skills such as assessment, critical thinking, judgement, decision making in fulfilling their job responsibilities. There is opportunity for this position to work from home 80% of the time. This position standard hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. The RCRN's job responsibilities and performance expectations generally fall into the following four categories: Clinical administration and consultation related to managing patient refills, patient education/instruction, and Quality & Compliance. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Skills: Must be able to work autonomously and efficiently. Strong critical thinking skills. Use sound judgment and apply nursing assessment techniques efficiently and with confidence. Ability to be flexible with changing priorities and multiple time sensitive deadlines. Deliver care while exemplifying compassion to patients and team members. Able to troubleshoot situations based on a strong understanding of nursing skills and clinic workflows. Proficient in an electronic health records system with typing speed of 40 wpm minimum. Education: Current unencumbered CA Registered Nurse License Experience: One year of experience in clinic, outpatient or general medicine preferred. Current BLS certification. Must be able to utilize NHC's telephone translation services as needed. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
