Director of Renovation Services

The Director of Renovation Services provides strategic leadership and
expertise and sets the standards and tone for performance delivery of renovation
services. This position supports the Vice President, Sales & Marketing and ensures that
renovation services are aligned with the strategic objectives and values of the company.
The position is responsible for all aspects of renovation services provided by us, and
that those services are delivered at a high level of performance, at a cost within
expectations. Ensures that a strong and effective relationship is maintained with clients,
adjusters and contractors. This individual will serve as a point of contact for all
stakeholders and drives complex and innovative strategic projects that add value to our
customers and us.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Work cross-functionally with other teams to manage stakeholder relationships as
required and make strategic decisions about planning and fulfillment of services.
? Communicate professionally and clearly with all stakeholders regarding
upcoming or active jobs, inclusive of project scope, schedule, and costs.
? Develop and maintain key customer relationships including meeting with key
stakeholders to devise solutions to the most complex of problems and
collaborate on areas of improvement.
? Ensure regular status updates are delivered to the customer and be the point of
contact for key customers.
? Resolve customer concerns with a high sense of urgency.
? Leverage knowledge and expertise to effectively manage assigned jobs to
achieve quality, on-time or early deliveries in accordance with the scope, budget
and expected timelines.
? Ensure the achievement of financial goals through effective forecasting,
budgeting, strategic planning, reporting and monitoring performance.
? Control the department budget and ensure timely and accurate reporting and
make adjustments and updates, as necessary, to ensure financial results are
achieved.
? Communicate operational, budgetary or resource issues/obstacles in a timely
fashion.
? Plan, control, and allocate project budgets. Analyze business/financial data and
develop innovative solutions.
? Ensure efficient project optimization and profitability management. Track and
control the profit metrics for all projects.
? Manage numerous projects simultaneously including managing deadlines, risks,
and customer expectations.
? Prepare proposals, transforming functional requirements into a clear scope of
work based on a customer's needs.
? Develop departmental goals, ensure they are clearly communicated, reinforced
and delivered according to plan.
? Partner with HR to ensure the department is effectively staffed and trained.
? Operate within the Financial, Legal, and Ethical Policies of our company.
? Be familiar with and comply with company rules and policies. Act as professional
role model in performance and behavior in accordance with our values.
? Travel as required or requested for job/construction site visits, stakeholder
meetings or other related purposes.
? Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
? Bachelor’s Degree in business management, accounting, engineering or related
technical discipline preferred.
? Minimum of five years’ management experience with customer relationship
management and project management, with a focus in construction, renovation,
engineering, or other related business.
? Project management or construction management certifications a plus.
? Demonstrated experience solving complex customer issues.
? Demonstrate experience managing customer focused service teams.
? Demonstrable record of project plan delivery.

? Excellent project management skills.
? Excellent financial management, analysis and reporting skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Systematic thinking and the ability to find common ground with colleagues,
customers, and other stakeholders.
? High level of proficiency in Xactimate estimating software preferred.
? High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
? Excellent thought leadership skills.
? Excellent team leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, evaluation,
delivering feedback for improvement, discipline, counseling and performance
reviews.

Physical Requirements
? Extended periods of sitting, standing and traversing in an office or home office
environment.
? Periods of sitting, standing and traversing during travel including carrying
personal luggage.
