Job Summary:

Interior Construction Foreman are professionals who skills set them apart from other workers due to proficiency and accuracy. Interior Construction Foreman have mastered multiples trade skills such as, but not limited to, interior layout, framing metal, hanging drywall, finishing drywall, painting, acoustical ceilings, carpentry, door/frame & hardware installation, demolition of interior finishes and walls, and other misc. skills required to complete Commercial buildouts and renovations.

Interior Construction Foreman are responsible for the on-site coordination of resources used in interior construction, including other tradecraft labor, material & material suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment. Additionally, the Interior Construction Foreman is responsible for project quality control, AHJ inspections, and overall job site safety.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Proficient in two (2) or more of the following trade skills:

1. Interior layout

2. Framing metal

3. Hanging drywall

4. Finishing drywall

5. Painting

6. Acoustical ceilings

7. General carpentry

8. Door/frame & hardware installation

9. Demolition of interior finishes

· Ability to read Design Drawings and perform basic unit measurement take offs and analysis.

· Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets, product manufacturer instructions, operating equipment manuals and construction trade specifications

Supervisor Responsibilities:

· Recognize discrepancies between contracted work scopes and contract documents

· Work directly with the Superintendent to ensure the project runs smoothly and is completed on-time

· Schedule and coordinate tradecraft, subcontractors, and material/equipment suppliers

· Knowledgeable with respect to the company’s mission, policies, and capabilities, including employee development

· Follow and send emails as related to Project and other Corporate Development items

· Maintain and manage “as built” drawings and the approval of revisions

· Complete daily work reports to reflect the accurate job site status and condition

Education and Experience:

· 7+ years experience preferred

· Extensive experience with interior wall layout, framing, and drywall preferred

Additional Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
