The Certified Medication Technician (CMT)provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The CMT is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:

• Create a fun, engaging and caring environment for our residents
• Under the direction of an RN, administer routine daily prescription or non-prescription medication to residents whose condition and drug regimen are stable
• Assist residents by providing social interaction, community connection, support, personal care, housekeeping duties and other tasks
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
• Administer constant, quality customer service to help our residents thrive
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certification/current registration as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)
• Must have a high school diploma, GED or be a nurse aide currently active on the Pennsylvania registry
• One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
• Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA
• Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
• Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
