Job Description

LiveView Technologies is looking for a Director of Enterprise Engineering, you will lead a team of skilled IT systems administrators responsible for managing and maintaining our enterprise IT infrastructure. Leveraging your strategic vision and technical expertise, you will develop and implement initiatives to enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires a strong leadership presence, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of enterprise IT systems, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Acumatica, and other SaaS products.


Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide visionary leadership to the Enterprise Engineering team, setting clear goals, priorities, and expectations to drive performance and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team of IT systems administrators, promoting professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels within the team and across the organization, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and alignment with business objectives.


Enterprise IT Systems Administration:


  • Oversee the administration and optimization of enterprise IT systems, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Acumatica, and other SaaS products, to ensure they meet business requirements and performance objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices for system configuration, security, monitoring, and maintenance, in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance system performance to drive operational efficiency and reduce downtime.


Strategic Planning and Roadmapping:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define the strategic direction and roadmap for enterprise IT systems, aligning technology investments with business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and innovation, and develop strategies to address emerging business needs.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in enterprise IT, providing recommendations and insights to inform long-term planning and decision-making.


Vendor Management and Relationship Building:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with organizational priorities and standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms with vendors to optimize value and ensure delivery of high-quality services and solutions.
  • Stay informed of vendor roadmaps, product updates, and industry trends to anticipate changes in the technology landscape and proactively address potential impacts on our systems and operations.


Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Implement robust security measures and controls to safeguard sensitive data and protect against cybersecurity threats, in compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Be an active participant in regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security vulnerabilities and gaps in our infrastructure, and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to data privacy, security, and compliance, and oversee the implementation of remediation measures as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, ITIL, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in enterprise IT systems administration, with a track record of leadership and achievement in managing complex IT environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT systems and platforms, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Acumatica, and other SaaS products, with a focus on system administration, configuration, and optimization.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and build strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think analytically, anticipate future trends, and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and make data-driven decisions to optimize resource allocation and maximize return on investment.
