Job Description:

The Sr. Operations Specialist will be responsible for processing daily transactions for Commerical Loan clients. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Performing monetary transactions and loan maintenance of commercial loans within the Loan Accounting System.
• Performs research on moderately complex Commercial Loan Inquiries and requests.
• Implementation of loan transactions and maintenance in commercial loan products on the Bank systems.
• Reviews, understands and translates loan documents and credit approvals for implementation and quality assurance.
• Utilizes knowledge or resources to resolve moderately complex issues, escalates complex and non-routine issues.
• Review reports and provide backup documentation for internal and external auditors,
• Accountable for performing assigned standard and non-standard functions efficiently with minimal supervision and ensuring adherence to all regulations, procedures, and polices.
• Provide training and support to business partners and junior team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage high volumes of loan transactions with a very high level of accuracy, and support cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information
• Able to independently research and solve simple to moderately complex scenarios
• Solid networking skills with a strong ability to establish relationships with internal clients
• Strong attention to detail
• Critical thinking with the awareness to know when to challenge or question
• Solid MS Office skills with emphasis in Excel
• Aptitude for following process and procedures
• High School Diploma or Equivalency PLUS
• 2+ years of related professional experience (Commercial Loan Banking)
• Bachelor's Degree desired and may be considered as 1-2 years overall experience.

Base Pay:

Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
