Job Description

Tool Room Supervisor

*This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift paying $30/hr

Purpose: Assist Supervisor to revise, repair and maintain molds, jigs, fixtures, gauges and cutters. Assist with repair of press components and trouble shoot molds and secondary tooling problems. Recommend to Supervisor a corrective action plan for problem molds and tools, which will ensure quality parts for the
customer.

Responsibilities:

Advise Supervisor immediately of any unreported mold damage, wear or unsatisfactory conditions
Operate milling machine, lathe, drill press, surface grinder and auxiliary equipment
Use and operate tool room equipment and machinery in a safe manner
Maintain tool room equipment and keep work area organized and clean
Perform other duties as required

Training Requirements (OJT 90 Days):

Work Experience:

Preferred 3 – 5 years related tool room experience in an injection molding environment
Must be able to read part and tool drawings and use standard measuring instruments
Working knowledge of equipment, molds, fixtures, etc.
Ability to be flexible due to priority changes
