Position Overview

The Logistics & Warehouse Analyst position is responsible for supporting operational execution of outbound logistics & warehousing practices. This position requires a proactive approach to create and streamline internal processes, anticipate needs, and proactively come to the team with solutions. Responsibilities include internal coordination across the sales team, supply chain, accounting, 3PL, IT and external coordination to ensure effective fulfillment processes and support high customer service levels.

What You’ll Be Doing – The Essentials

Executing Operations with US and European 3PL and Outbound Logistics Partners

  • Build efficiencies, improving customer service, and executing warehouse and logistics processes for a fast-growing business.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on KPI’s and metrics to track and improve the warehousing and logistics partner performance and the profitability of the overall LifeStraw business including using data to present critical decisions and recommendations to the leadership team.
  • Manage overall inventory processes. Including executing inventory transfer, inventory reconciliation, adjustments, & back-order root-cause and resolution.
  • Performing regular inventory reconciliation practices to ensure inventory level accuracy.
  • Work with direct-to-consumer business in US and Europe to improve customer experience, build pick pack efficiencies, set up soft bundles and manage subscription services.
  • Analyzing outbound logistics and warehousing data to identify cost saving opportunities while improving outbound shipping & warehouse processes towards better efficiency and customer service levels.
  • Scheduling & quoting outbound shipments from 3PL’s. Prepare shipping documents when needed (international and domestic outbound).
  • Identify and communicate shipment delays, defects or omissions and escalate issues as needed.
  • Creating and updating shipping instructions to share with North America vendors and all 3PL’s.
  • Build and manage SOPs for warehouse, logistics and systems processes.
  • Manage any local (US and Europe) product or packing rework projects including costing and timeline management.
  • Managing receiving & returns processing at 3PL’s (US & EU).
  • Support inbound logistics & compliance when needed.
  • Gather and report on sustainability metrics including GHG impacts and other indicators related to logistics and warehousing as required to maintain or meet our Climate Neutral, B-Corp, science based targets and other environmental commitments.


Global EDI and Systems Management:

  • Become familiar with overall EDI, NetSuite and Shopify integration(s), and systems structure.
  • Review all new customers set up respective of routing / shipping requirements, ensuring warehouse compliance with relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory feeds.


Global Charge Back Management

  • Manage chargeback process, tracking, disputing, settlement with cross functional team support; leading weekly status meetings.
  • Analyze chargebacks and trends and build short- and long-term strategies to address root cause and reduce chargeback exposure and to quickly and successfully dispute chargebacks.

Experience and Education Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in warehousing & logistics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and proficiency in relevant software including Excel (MS Office Suite), NetSuite, SPS, or WMS.


Essential Physical Demands and Typical Working Conditions

Physical demands include bending, carrying, pushing-pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking and extremes of temperature and humidity, as well as travel between physical locations. Hazards include stairs and communicable diseases.
