Entry Level Payroll Coordinator

Our client located in Sandy Springs is seeking an Entry Level Payroll Clerk to join their growing organization

Direct-Hire, Permanent Position

Salary: $50-55K with Bonus

Location: Sandy Springs, GA

They are working a Hybrid Schedule 3 days in office/2 days WFH

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll
• Process new hires, separated employees, increases, garnishments, direct deposits, advances, tax changes and various loans as approved.
• Complete generations of payroll wage and hours, including overtime and part-time, from exception and overtime reports of all departments
• Calculate vacation time to be paid out for term employees.
• Export overtime and part-time hours into payroll system.
• Update employees’ job record and changes of employment status, as necessary.
• Issue manual checks when needed.
• Audit the sequence transaction report prior to transmission.
• Prepare and transmit payroll.
• Receive and translate files once payroll is processed.
• Reconcile change notices against check register.

Requirements and skills

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-2 years of Payroll experience preferred
• Strong Excel experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
