Job Description

A Residential HVAC Helper assists HVAC technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings.

Job Title: Residential HVAC Helper

Location: Mesa, AZ

Salary: $25.00 Per Hour

Hours: 6am to 3 pm on Monday-Thursday 6 am- 12 pm on Fridays

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Residential HVAC Helper to assist our team of HVAC technicians in delivering high-quality service to our residential clients. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of HVAC systems and a willingness to learn and grow in the field. This role involves assisting with installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems under the supervision of experienced technicians.

Responsibilities:

Assist HVAC technicians with installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties.
Help with the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.
Carry tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Learn to troubleshoot HVAC systems and assist in diagnosing issues.
Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and respectful while on job sites.
Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components preferred.
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced technicians.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
