We have an immediate long term opportunity with one of our key clients for a position of Guidewire Data Analyst, to work in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities:

As a Guidewire Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the analysis and development of Guidewire data models and mapping. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting requirement elicitation sessions and participating in workshops to gather and understand business needs.
• Preparing comprehensive design documents outlining data analysis and mapping strategies.
• Managing software configuration by creating, tagging, and merging branches to ensure version control and consistency.
• Building and delivering applications to various environments, ensuring smooth deployment and integration.
• Utilizing project management principles to prepare Master Project Plans (MPP), assign tasks, track status, and monitor non-compliances.
• Customizing Guidewire products, including data model development, business logic (rules) development, and PCF screen (user interface) development.
• Implementing LOB (Line of Business) mapping and localization for different locales to accommodate diverse business requirements.
• Developing classes and enhancements using Gosu programming language to enhance system functionality.
• Conducting unit testing, preparing Unit Test Cases (UTC), and performing thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
• Facilitating peer reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and best practices.
• Mentoring junior developers, providing guidance, support, and knowledge transfer to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Skills:

• Over 12+ years of experience in Guidewire Data Analysis, with expertise in GW Data Model and data mapping.
• Strong proficiency in requirement elicitation, workshop participation, and preparation of design documents.
• Proficient in software configuration management, including branch creation, tagging, and merging.
• Experience in building and delivering applications across different environments.
• Knowledge of project management principles and tools for effective planning and monitoring.
• Hands-on experience in customizing Guidewire products, including data model development, business logic development, and UI development.
• Familiarity with LOB mapping and localization for diverse business requirements.
• Proficiency in Gosu programming language for class and enhancement development.
• Experience in unit testing, test case preparation, and peer review processes.
• Excellent mentoring and coaching skills to guide and support junior developers.
