  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in GOSU, Java, JavaScript, and SQL are essential for developing and configuring Guidewire applications.
  • Guidewire Platform: A deep understanding of Guidewire''''s architecture, components, and APIs is crucial for customizing and integrating solutions.
  • Insurance Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance concepts, processes, and regulations is beneficial for understanding business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: The ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues is vital for troubleshooting and maintaining Guidewire products.
  • Guidewire Ace Certification / Mandatory Associate Certification in Integration (Guidewire Certified Associate – Integration)

Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations with external systems including rating engines, payment gateways, document services, and core platforms
  • Implement and configure SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging infrastructure (Kafka, JMS), and integration plugins
  • Lead the architecture and design of new integration flows, including data mapping and error handling strategies
  • Develop custom plugins for pre/post submission logic, policy lifecycle events, and claim/policy sync
  • Guide and mentor development teams on integration best practices and performance tuning
  • Support end-to-end testing, debugging, and issue resolution across environments
  • Collaborate with BAs, QA, CloudOps, and DevOps teams to ensure successful deployments and monitoring
