Lead the Pre-Construction Process and Shape Our Future

Exciting news! We've teamed up with a leading construction management firm, and together, we're in search of a Chief Estimator to join this growing team and play a pivotal role in pre-construction activities. You will leverage your 15+ years of experience in non-residential, commercial, aviation, and municipal construction to lead the estimating process, manage client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

In this key leadership role, you will:

• Spearhead all aspects of pre-construction cost estimating from blueprints, including material quantity surveys, equipment pricing, constructability reviews, and value engineering.
• Become an expert on your projects, conducting site assessments, life-cycle costing, and scheduling to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Foster strong client relationships, representing the firm in meetings and collaborating effectively with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Guide and mentor junior estimators, fostering a collaborative and learning environment within the department.
• Contribute to the company's success, assisting with fee proposals, analyzing market trends, and adapting to changing economic landscapes.

To be successful, you will possess:

• Extensive experience (15+ years) as a construction estimator in the non-residential, commercial sector.
• Aviation/Airport estimating experience
• Proven ability to lead and manage projects from conceptual design to bid documents.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in REVIT, OST, Excel, MS Office Suite, Planswift, and construction databases.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive and results-oriented attitude, with a strong work ethic and a "can-do" spirit.
• A valid Texas driver's license and the ability to travel occasionally.

This competitive compensation package includes:

• Salary range: $125,000 - $140,000K/yr. base salary (based on experience) + bonus
