What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

• Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Conversation and companionship, potential to accompany to appts, outings, and social events
• Stand-by/assist with ambulation
• Helping clients with grocery lists, meal prep, and planning
• Client errands/shopping and transportation (as applicable)
• Medication reminders
• Lighthouse keeping assistance and support
• Support and/or provide hygiene assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, continence care)

What we need from you (Qualifications)

• Ability to lift, push, or pull
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Possess valid auto insurance (if applicable)
• Ability to adapt to various living environments and locations
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, courteous, compassionate manner
• Bi-lingual preferred is a plus
• Caring and compassionate
• Enjoy helping others and making a difference
• Interested in personal and professional growth
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks as assigned
