Data Developer

The primary responsibility of the Data Developer is to support the production of analytics solutions for internal and external clients. The role is responsible for various aspects of data development including data collection and preparation, data integration, quality assurance, report maintenance and development, and data analysis.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Produce internal/external client analytics dashboards and reports; including executive KPI dashboards, detailed KPI analytics, ad-hoc reports, or similar report projects based on specified requirements.
  • Collect, acquire, and organize data from multiple simple data sources including data files, databases, or other internal/external datasets.
  • Ensure data quality by performing quality analysis (QA) on loaded data and reports.
  • Refresh, update and publish existing internal/external report products.
  • Read, comprehend, and follow new report development requirements documentation.
  • Create new dashboards, reports, and data visualizations based on specified requirements.
  • Provide reports to Account Managers for Stewardship Reviews
  • Prepare and review all reports with data integrity and accuracy.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, monthly reporting tasks within defined timelines.
  • Support the presentation of information and data; including executive KPI dashboards, detailed KPI analytics, ad-hoc reports, or similar reports to internal and/or external clients.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Credentials:

  • A four-year degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • 1-3 years of general data warehouse, reports development, and data analysis experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions required.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Query Editor, other Power Platform applications (or similar technologies) preferred.
  • Experience with SQL Development; Queries, Stored Procedures, ETL, Reporting and Analysis preferred.
  • Experience on projects doing requirements gathering, working directly with business users preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SSIS, SSAS, SSRS preferred
  • Experience with high-level and detailed designs, following structured and disciplined design methodologies preferred.
  • Some project management experience preferred.
  • Licensing as required.
