The Opportunity:
Join a team dedicated to advancing national security through innovative irregular warfare, data engineering, and operations expertise. CACI is looking for Data Engineers to support a program delivering mission-critical advisory, technical, training, and operational services that help mission partners stay ahead of rapidly evolving global threats.
In this role, you'll help design, build, integrate, and sustain data solutions that transform complex mission data into actionable insights and operational advantage. Working alongside technical and operational professionals across geographic and functional combatant commands, Data Engineers will play a critical role in enabling mission-ready capabilities, improving access to trusted data, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the joint force.
This is an opportunity to apply your data engineering expertise to high-impact national security missions, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with experienced professionals operating at the intersection of technology and mission. Candidates who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy turning complex data into meaningful solutions, and are committed to mission excellence will find opportunities for growth and impact within CACI and across this team.
Opportunities are available at the Journeyman and Senior level and contingent upon award announcement.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain data management architectures that enable efficient ingestion, organization, and dissemination of OIE- and IW-related data and analysis.
  • Support development of Common Operating Pictures (COPs) and dashboards for leadership decision-making.
  • Design and sustain knowledge management frameworks supporting data ingestion, cataloging, retrieval, and visualization.
  • Enable cross-task and cross-command information sharing while adhering to data governance requirements.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Knowledge Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in data management, data engineering, knowledge management, or enterprise data architecture
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) within 90 days of hire
  • Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining data management architectures, including ingestion, cataloging, metadata, and dissemination workflows
  • Hands on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, data modeling, schema design, and metadata management
  • Experience developing or supporting dashboards, COPs, or enterprise visualization tools
  • Experience enabling cross team or cross command information sharing while adhering to data governance requirements
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex data flows and architectures
  • Ability to collaborate with analysts, planners, and leadership to support operational decision making
  • Familiarity with NIPR/SIPR/JWICS environments and secure data dissemination workflows

Desired:
  • Prior experience supporting DoD, IC, or COCOM level missions
  • Current Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent DoD 8570 certification
  • Experience designing knowledge management frameworks, enterprise search, or data cataloging systems
  • Experience with DevSecOps, DISA STIGs, RMF, or secure cloud architecture best practices
  • Strong proficiency with MAVEN Smart Systems
