Installation Construction Technician - Grout Operator

We are currently seeking Installation Construction Technicians - Grout Operator with chemical and annular space grouting experience or Jetvac operating experience to join our team in Wellington, FL. As an Installation Construction Technician - Grout Operator, you will be responsible for assisting with stopping infiltration on service connections and pipe joints prior to lining. You will also be responsible for testing and sealing pipe joints. This position requires working with minimal oversite while still adhering to instructions closely.

We are currently offering a limited-time sign-on bonus of $4,000 for new hires with a valid CDL license, and sign-on bonuses for new hires without a current CDL license are also available at a reduced amount. New employees who meet the criteria outlined in our sign-on bonus program will be eligible for the full payout.

The starting pay is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour dependent upon experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with stopping infiltration on service connections and pipe joints prior to lining
• Test and seal pipe joints
• Operator chemical grout machines
• Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
• Learn / train on Insituform’s products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
• Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop

What We Need From You:

• Experience operating and dealing with the chemical and annular space grouting process is required
• Experience working in an outdoor underground construction environment, preferably with CIPP, water, or sewer utilities is preferred
• Valid driver’s license required with a clean motor vehicle report
• Willing and able to drive various construction vehicles
• Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
• Comfortable working in and around sewer and storm drains
• Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Must be able to travel throughout Florida as needed
