Job Description

Revit Draftsman

Krivonen Structural Engineers is seeking an experienced Revit Draftsman to join our team in Billings, Montana. This position will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models and coordinating with project teams throughout all phases of structural design projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop highly detailed and accurate 3D structural models using Revit
Collaborate with engineers to ensure models reflect design intent and meet specifications
Coordinate Revit models with architectural, MEP, and other discipline models to identify and resolve clashes
Extract 2D construction drawings and details from the Revit model
Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks on models
Provide Revit coordination and support during construction phase
Train and mentor junior Revit staff as needed
Stay up-to-date on latest Revit software versions, standards, and best practices

Requirements:

5-10 years of experience as a Revit Draftsman, preferably in the structural engineering field
Expert-level skills with Autodesk Revit and associated applications
Strong knowledge of structural design, codes, and construction processes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Familiarity with structural analysis software is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
