Universal Banker

The Universal Banker’s primary goal is to help clients by discovering financial needs, assisting in problem resolutions, and processing transactions when needed. This position takes a lead role in creating an outstanding client service experience by resolving client concerns, opening new accounts, offering convenience services, and helping the Office meet objectives contributing to the success of the organization. The Universal Banker reinforces the Bank’s commitment to consistently deliver a high-quality client experience through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved clients and colleagues.

The incumbent in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 20 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.

• Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred but not required
• High School Degree or equivalent, College degree or coursework preferred in business, finance or accounting.
• Minimum of one (1) year banking and cash handling/balancing experience required.
• Experience in banking is preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills and analytical skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to quickly adapt to different environments, and unpredictable situations.
• Detail oriented, able to multi-task.
