Autowash’s warehouse manager is crucial to the appropriate flow of parts and pieces to support our ever-growing chain of car washes. As a professional, the warehouse manager is tasked with overseeing the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods, including B:B and B:C customer products. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and positively manages a small team, maintains workplace safety standards, uses databases to track inventory, and ensures timely shipping of all products to hit productivity goals for their team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency; by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
- Maintain warehouse operations systems and inventory controls
- Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing both digital and physical inventory systems and logistics
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
Accountabilities:
- Proficiency with writing warehouse procedures and policies (SOPs)
- Proficient with an ERP system
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to be on their feet comfortably for six or more hours at a time
- Must be able to move and lift objects in excess of 100 pounds.
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders.
- Must have attention to detail in a loud and pace paced environment, safely and efficiently.
- Must have the ability to prioritize and work independently while supporting a team of direct reports, with minimal direct supervision.
- Must be able to drive a folk lift
