Warehouse Management Supervisor

TSMC Arizona is looking for a Warehouse Management Supervisor to join our 5-nanometer fab, located in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As a Warehouse Management Supervisor, you will demonstrate a strong sense of reliability and enthusiasm and will possess an attitude that embodies our core values - Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Customer Trust.

TSMC Arizona's Warehouse Management Program is responsible for Inventory Management (quality and accuracy) and all onsite Logistics & Material Handling (receiving, stowing, picking, packing, fulfilling, deliveries, etc.) of raw material and finished goods. As our Warehouse Management Supervisor, you will not only lead and facilitate warehouse operation management, but also help us achieve fulfillment excellence through continuous improvement in automation warehouse design, robotic process automation, vendor management, and process improvement projects.

Job Description:

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Lead, train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned direct reports
  • Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, supplies or equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned to support productivity targets and customer demand.
  • Working understanding of key performance indicators (KPI's), up to and including, identifying and implementing value added KPI's to track for overall health of the warehouse
  • Supervise the processing of requisitions and requests to invoice for reimbursements of warehouse codes; complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.
  • Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory printouts and catalogs as required.
  • Monitor automated warehousing system; operate a computer to enter data, correct errors and control key screens as required.
  • Accountable for overall efficiency and performance of the warehouse operations by focusing on capacity, layout, and continuous improvment
  • Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
  • Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition for your direct reports.
  • Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; advise of budget-related needs; assist in the bid process for various supplies as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular attendance and work with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields with 3+ years of relevant warehouse experience and 2+ years in a warehouse supervisory role in a Warehouse
  • A passion for warehouse logistics and knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Experience in inventory management software, databases, familiarity with SAP, MS office, refrigeration engineers, ASRS, and AGV is a plus.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to self-motivate and work in a team environment.
  • Effective organizational and time management skill set.
  • Certified as a forklift operator is a plus or the ability to become certified
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations such as HAZMAT material handling and storage with certification, or ability to become certified in one or more of these areas as necessary. (Training and certification will be provided)
  • Physical fitness for performing the warehouse activities like standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting heavy objects up to 49LBS.

ERT Participation:

If hired for this position, you may be required to participate in and perform Emergency Response Team (ERT) duties as an essential part of the role. These duties may include responding to F21 incidents, such as medical emergencies, chemical spills, fire response, or addressing any other disruptions to business operations. If you are selected by your manager to become a part of ERT, participation is mandatory.
