Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced BIM/CAD Designer proficient in Revit to join our team. As a BIM/CAD Designer, you will play a vital role in creating detailed building information models (BIM) and CAD drawings for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural or structural design, along with extensive experience using Revit software in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

1. BIM Modeling: Utilize Revit software to develop detailed building information models (BIM) for architectural and structural elements of construction projects. Create 3D models of buildings, structures, and components, incorporating design specifications, dimensions, and materials.
2. CAD Drafting: Produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD or similar software, including plans, elevations, sections, and details. Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
3. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate design changes, updates, and revisions into BIM models and CAD drawings. Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical support as needed.
4. Quality Control: Perform quality checks on BIM models and CAD drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with design standards and specifications. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in the models and drawings.
5. Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to BIM models and CAD drawings, including model files, drawing sets, revisions, and project archives. Organize and manage project files in accordance with company standards and protocols.
6. Revit Family Creation: Develop custom Revit families and components as needed to support project requirements and design standards. Create parametric families for building elements, fixtures, equipment, and other components to enhance BIM models.
7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on Revit software and BIM/CAD best practices. Share knowledge and expertise to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of BIM/CAD workflows within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a BIM/CAD Designer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Revit software, with a strong understanding of BIM principles and methodologies.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in BIM modeling and CAD drafting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
