Senior Electrical Test Engineer

An Electrical Test Engineer is responsible for supporting electrical engineering activities at King Nutronics. This role involves collaborating with engineers and technical staff to develop, test and troubleshoot electrical systems and circuit boards to ensure the functionality and safety of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production support

· Support production and assist in product development.

2. Testing and Evaluation

• Troubleshoot electrical boards at the component level.
• Program and align boards.
• Use electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency counter and generators.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Solder (J-Std certification a plus).
• Construct and crimp wiring harnesses.

3. Assemble and Test

• Perform electromechanically assembly.
• ·Troubleshoot products at the system level.

4. Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of engineering revisions and test results.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Adhere to all company quality standards.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols.

6. Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to:

• Coordinate project activities.
• Share information.
• Achieve project objectives within timelines and budgets.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related technical degree.
2. Five years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing or electronics.
3. Proficiency in the use of electrical test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, frequency counter and generators.
4. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
5. Teamwork and communication skills.
6. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
7. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook. Programming knowledge (C++ or Python) a plus.
