About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team.This position supports the product development and release process by partnering with cross-functional teams to introduce electrical components for new product launches. It involves developing and deploying test fixtures to ensure part acceptance and quality across both internal operations and supplier locations. The role also contributes to supplier quality improvement initiatives aimed at reducing defects and increasing first-pass yield, while providing hands-on troubleshooting and manufacturing support during product and program launches. A strong continuous improvement mindset is essential, with a focus on driving cost efficiencies and operational effectiveness.
This is a full-time onsite position (Monday-Friday) and requires close collaboration with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.

What You'll Do
  • Provide technical support for released electrical products, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Lead efforts to resolve field issues, manufacturing challenges, and supplier-related problems.
  • Manage component obsolescence and implement redesigns or substitutions as needed.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through design optimization, alternate sourcing, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Maintain and update documentation such as schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.
  • Support regulatory compliance and product certifications through engineering changes and documentation.
  • Participate in sustaining engineering reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in electrical CAD and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD, SPICE).
  • Solid knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, motion control, and power electronics.
  • Experience with FPGA and PLD programming required. Familiarity with both VHDL and Verilog preferred.
  • Familiarity with thermal management, high-current system design, and best practices for EMI/EMC mitigation.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and industrial equipment certifications.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
