Overview:
Join a growing engineering and manufacturing organization seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the design, testing, and documentation of critical power systems. This role is key in delivering high-performance solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals.


Job Duties:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for critical power applications
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and production teams
  • Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
  • Create documentation including BOMs, O&M manuals, and test plans
  • Participate in functional testing and troubleshooting
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards (UL, etc.)
  • Assist in prototyping and analyzing performance results
  • Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Manage engineering change control and project timelines
  • Follow safety protocols and promote electrical safety across the company
  • Some travel or after-hours work may be required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited)
  • 4–7 years of electrical design experience (switchgear, power systems preferred)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of UL standards (UL 891, UL 1558, UL 67, etc.)
  • Ability to read and create electrical diagrams and troubleshoot issues
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
