Position Title: Electrical Engineer
Department/Location: Engineering/Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Supervisor: Engineering Division Manger
Status: Regular/Full-Time
Primary Function:
This position is responsible for designing electrical systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Accessing and interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, standards, and component specifications.
2. Identifying, analyzing, and providing solutions to technical issues.
3. Design, analyze, test, and document power system, conversion, distribution, or control systems products.
4. Assisting in test efforts.
5. Requirement definition, tracking, and resolution.
6. Technical data development, including instructions, plans, procedures, and reports.
7. Risk identification and tracking.
8. Perform design work within the bounds of a given budget and schedule.
9. Work as a member of a team to ensure work is complete on time and accurate.
10. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Conditions:
Employee will be working mostly within an office environment. Employee may travel to work site locations where employee will be expected to dress in appropriate manner to deal with clients and customers. Some travel will be necessary to meet the requirements for the position.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field from an accredited University.
  • 4 or more years' experience in electrical design
  • Proficient knowledge of the Autocad Electrical, Eagle, and SPICE simulators
  • Ability to shift priorities and demands and timelines while still meeting all expectations and deadlines.
  • Experience working with government contracts.
  • US Citizen.
  • Current/Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Desirable Skills (not required):
  • Maintainability and Reliability planning
  • CAM experience
  • MBSE experience
  • Experience with mechanical and hardware components and controls
