Experience Automotive Technician

FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE is seeking an experienced Experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at FOUNDATION HYUNDAI. As the Experience Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for conducting services on vehicles, diagnosing, and completing repairs on customer vehicles. The Experience Automotive Technician will provide leadership and direction to other members of the service department.

Responsibilities:

• Perform removal, replacement, and diagnostic work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Examine, diagnose, and repair any vehicle malfunction
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
• Communication with the service advisor if repairs are completed, cannot be completed or additional repairs are needed
• Document work performed
• Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician.
• Train members of the service department in various vehicle maintenance and repair responsibilities
• Knowledge of parts, approved and established procedures, and quality control and inspection requirements

Requirements:

• 2+ years as an Automotive Technician
• ASE Certifications is a plus
• Knowledgeable in automotive maintenance, diagnostic, and removal/replacement skills
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening
• Authorization to work in the USA
