Machine Operator-12 Hour Shifts

This company is hiring Machine Operators to work 12-hour day and 12-hour night shifts, rotating 3 or 4 days per week including weekends. What you will do as the Machine Operator:

• Review written job specifications from the job ticket
• Conduct quality checks
• Package and move finished product
• Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Complete computerized and paper documentation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area #southmetrojobs

What you need to be a Machine Operator:

• 1+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and write basic English
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Lean manufacturing and/or quality control training is preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to stand, bend, and stoop with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willingness to participate in a pre-employment drug screen and background check
