A dental practice located in the heart of Lakeland, FL, is in search of an Office Manager to become part of their expanding team. As the Office Manager, applicants should possess prior experience in a dental setting and will be responsible for supervising all administrative tasks for front-office staff, which includes Receptionists and Dental Assisting Specialists.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide direct individual and team leadership to ensure all office employees produce outstanding service for patients
  • Anticipate proactively and respond efficiently to patient and doctor needs and inquiries
  • Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner ensuring delivery of highest quality care to patients
  • Resolve patient issues in accordance with company policies and procedures, healthcare regulations and dental board standards
  • Create and present treatment plans to patients based on insurance benefits for PPO or Office’s own Insurance Plan
  • Organize and present financial payment arrangements to patients
  • Manage and track dental claims submissions and payments
  • Update and maintain patient accounts with accurate payment postings, credit balances and receivables
  • Coordinate with dental insurance companies to ensure claims are paid timely and accurately
  • Recruit, train and develop office staff to meet operational and performance requirements
  • Monitor and maintain the office budget
  • Complete administrative functions including bank deposits, revenue posting, staff payroll and invoice processing
  • Oversee collections and accounts receivable
  • Run and analyze daily, monthly, quarterly and annual management reports
  • Maintain facilities, equipment and documentation in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations including OSHA

Who We’re Looking For

  • Prior dental office experience required
  • Experience working in Eaglesoft – dental records system required
  • Ability to conduct HR responsibilities such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Familiarity with critical care procedures and protocols required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team

What You Can Expect

  • $50,000 - $65,000/year depending on experience
  • Monday – Wednesday, 8:00am – 5:00pm and Thursday, 7:00am – 1:00pm
  • 401K with 3% match
