Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Telemarketer to generate leads and set appointments for the sales team by calling cold and warm leads in a fast-paced environment.


You will be responsible for influencing potential clients to accept an appointment with a sales representative. A successful telemarketer must be friendly and persuasive. You must be able to understand the client's needs and requirements and present the company's capabilities.


The ideal candidate will be patient and cool-tempered to deal with aggressiveness, short-temperedness, and complaints.


Knowledge of the physical security industry is preferred, but familiarity with building services and facility management cold calling will be considered.


The goal is to promote business growth by expanding the company's clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Cold/warm calling using leads provided by the company
  • Use scripts to generate sales leads
  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the client's needs, requirements, and expectations
  • Persuade the client to set an appointment to meet with a sales representative by demonstrating how services meet their needs
  • Record the client's information accurately in the CRM computer system
  • Deal with complaints, doubts, or negative reactions to safeguard the company's reputation
  • Go the extra mile to meet sales and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls, appointments made, and record other useful information

Requirements

  • Prior Customer Service experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
  • Persistent and results-oriented
  • Patient and able to handle rejection
  • College graduate preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 50,0000 annually

Schedule:

  • 20 hours per week / 4-hour shift / Adjustable hours per day
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

Supplemental Pay:

  • Bonus pay - based on number of appointments set

Experience:

  • Customer service: minimum two (2) years
  • Telemarketer: minimum three (3) years
  • Computer literacy: minimum five (5) years
  • CRM System & Database Management: Demonstrated expertise
