As the Accounting Process Analyst, you will provide operational and technical support to the Finance Department team members on a day-to-day basis by mastering all accounting processes and computer systems.  That knowledge will be shared to develop process consistency and resolution to problems.  This position will audit and assess interdepartmental processes that relate to finance, internal reporting, and techniques to assure compliance to a process, improve on performance, completeness, and efficiencies. 


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING  

  • Becoming a subject matter expert in the Finance Departments operational processes and understanding the cause and effect of all workflows.  
  • Developing clear understanding of all computer hardware and software systems. 
  • Identifying the technical specifications relating to support staff’s job duties.   
  • Monitoring the completion of specific tasks, productivity, quality, and data entry standards. 
  • Assessing and assigning workflow, coaching, counseling, administering scheduling systems and processes; enforcing policies and procedures. 
  • Coordinating operational activities with other internal functions alongside departments and managers.  
  • Documenting and auditing finance work instruction to standardize workflow and reporting. 
  • Maintaining and improving Finance day-to-day processing operations by monitoring system performance. 
  • Helping to identify and resolve operational problems. 
  • Liaising between Finance and Value Based Care Services IT: creating files, reviewing, auditing and approving requested finance reports for efficiency, thoroughness, accuracy, and objectivity. 
  • Project managing workflow improvements; coordinating and completing action plans that are assigned. 
  • Providing backup for banking transactions and client communication on weekly check runs. 
  • Attending or conducting operational meetings as requested. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE 

  • 4 years degree in accounting and understand accounting processes. 
  • Excellent communicational skills both verbal and written. 
  • Excellent computer and computer systems skills with up-to-date knowledge. 
  • Project oriented – start, follow through, and finalize. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel and Access) at an intermediate to advanced level.  
  • Must be organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, disciplined and a team player. 
  • Ability to teach and educate other staff members. 
  • Ability to analyze a problem and worth through to a resolution. 
  • Experience in the medical insurance industry a strong plus.

Guidehealth’s compensation structure includes more than just base salary. The base pay range for this role is between $50,000.00 and $60,000.00 per year paid bi-weekly per our standard payroll practices. Final base pay decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, years of relevant experience, education, location, and licensure/certifications.
