Our company is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for commercial and industrial buildings. As a Commercial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of HVAC systems to maximize customer comfort and minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and develop solutions to resolve them.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure their safe and efficient operation, including cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating motors.
- Repair ductwork to ensure proper airflow; Install and repair piping systems to ensure proper refrigerant circulation.
- Install and program thermostats and other HVAC control systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent on each job.
- Communicate with customers to explain the work to be performed, answer questions, and provide guidance on HVAC system operation and maintenance.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments related to HVAC systems.
- Proper use and care of tools, and tracking truck stock.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including their design, operation, and components.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Valid driver's license; No DUI’s; Ability to be insured by our insurance carrier.
