Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, including invoice verification, coding and data entry into the accounting system
• Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips
• Follow up with vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor accounts, W-9 files and 1099 information
• Ensure required documents have been obtained from new vendors prior to payment
• Code, record and reconcile all credit card transactions and expense reports
• Process weekly check run, print checks and prepare for mailing
• Prepare customer invoices and submit to customers
• Light collections work, prepare customer statements and e-mail friendly reminders
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be added and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 – 3 years related experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and Adobe pdf as well as basic computer skills
• NetSuite ERP experience a plus. Training available

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
