What is JetZero?
Today's aircraft contribute around 2.5% of global CO2 emissions, equivalent to the emissions of 200 million cars. This is only going to increase: Air travel is forecasted to double by 2050, while meaningful efficiency gains using current airplanes have hit a wall.
JetZero is developing a blended wing aircraft. It uses 50% less fuel and can accommodate zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. JetZero is the inevitable solution to sustainable air travel.

JetZero is in growth mode. As an aircraft design and configuration engineer, you will be responsible for managing aircraft configuration. Responsibilities include:

• Manage aircraft configuration under digital engineering tools.
• Integrate aircraft interiors, systems and structures with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Providing inputs on design trade-offs between different engineering disciplines.
• Optimize fuselage, wing, cabin, and sub-system configurations to meet aircraft handling needs, maintenability, and customers' requirements.
• Establish aircraft configuration from clean sheet conceptual design to final detail design

aerodynamic and performance background a plus

Engineering degree from an accredited university, and experience with related CAD tools such as Siemens NX preferred. Some aerodynamic and performance background is a plus. Who You Are

Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000
