Realtor duties:

• Listing and advertising properties for sale- Showing properties and executing contracts
• Monitoring contract details including inspections, repairs, and closing
• The company provides marketing support, materials, and advertising at no expense to the agent

HUD Mortgagee letter 2022-22 issued December 15th, 2022 states that dual compensation is now allowed for Realtors and Loan Originators!! This is the biggest change in our profession in two decades and allows holding dual licenses and increasing revenue by earning income from both!

Loan originator duties include:

• Completing a short application with prospective customers to gather basic information for qualifying.
• Providing customers with an outline of the mortgage process and documents required
• No data entry, explaining loan guidelines, or researching and quoting rates is required
