Business Development Associate

Bingham Construction, Southern California’s premier commercial construction company, is seeking a Business Development Associate to increase yearly revenue through the execution of our business development plan. This includes raising brand awareness and developing new client relationships through social media engagement, involvement in industry-related organizations, and supporting management with other business development opportunities.

The ideal candidate for this position has a thorough understanding of commercial real estate and extensive experience with the following Social Medial platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.

Additionally, desirable skills and experience include:

• A 4-year degree in marketing, business administration, or similar field.
• Marketing, business development and/or sales lead generation experience in the commercial real estate industry.
• Fluent with Salesforce and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook.
• Fluent with graphic, photographic and/or video editing software or apps such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include:

• Work with company management to create content relevant to company marketing objectives and suitable for posting.
• Research and connect with potential customers through social media and other trade related publications.
• Develop and implement a weekly plan for content creation and posting.
• Work with company’s marketing firm to develop content for website.
• Increase company revenue through sales and lead generation.
• Create and update client lead database using Salesforce software.
• Contact potential clients to establish initial meeting with company management.
• Gain feedback and follow up with current clients for future job opportunities.
• Attend industry-related networking events.

In addition to meeting the above criteria, the ideal candidate must:

- Be willing to work after hours and/or weekends as deadlines, meetings or networking events mandate.

- Be willing to travel outside of San Diego County (out-of-town expenses to be covered by company).

- Be able to pass a background check. This is a client requirement.

- Have a passion to exceed clients’ expectations, lead projects, and build relationships with co-workers and client staff.

Bingham Construction provides an excellent compensation package including:

• Salary range: $75,000 to $80,000.
• Commission: 3% on all contracts signed with new clients brought in by employee.
• Paid vacation and sick leave accruing from employee’s start date.
• Employer paid premiums for health and dental insurance.
• 401k after first 90 days. Employer match on 401k contributions after 1st year of employment.
• Company provided vehicle with gas, insurance and maintenance paid.
• Company provided laptop computer and cell phone.
• This position is stationed at our office in Rancho Bernardo. Some remote work may be allowed depending upon schedule of out-of-office events.
