Test Engineer - (N-CITE)

POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for developing and executing test plans and procedures in N-CITE, and coordinating with the NGA Test Organization

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Assists segments/programs in transition to Enterprise Jira;
• Assists the Lead Engineer in the build-out of the N-CITE common operating picture for web-enabled scheduling and dashboards;
• Conducts low-to-high side data pulls in Jira for the segments;
• Performs and conducts general maintenance of the N-CITE platform;
• Helps develops and coordinates the use of automated tools in support of N-CITE;
• Writes test plans and provides daily and final status reports;
• Executes tests in compliance with approved test processes;
• Validates test objectives (during test execution) and revises objectives as appropriate;
• Conducts post-test reviews;
• Provides support and development for automated testing initiatives;
• Manages C2S cloud resource allocation between manual functional testing and automated testing.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience drafting detailed application program coding specifications
• Experience working on all phases of applications programming activities
• Experience assisting various programs with inputs and maintenance of data in a Jira/Confluence environment.
• Experience in geospatial information system development and sustainment.

Qualifications include:

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree desired

Experience

• 15 years of experience with Bachelors or
• 10 years of experience with a Masters

Specialized Knowledge/Skills Requirements

• Knowledge and understanding of Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) collection, exploitation and systems
• Certified SAFE Agilist
