POSITION PURPOSE:

As the IV Suite Coordinator and Clinical Educator, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver exceptional naturopathic patient care and empower healthcare leaders of tomorrow. Through managing our IV Suite with precision, fostering a thriving business, and mentoring naturopathic medical student and residents, your role is fundamental to shaping the future of naturopathic medicine.

Salary: $60,000- $120,000+ per year. (base salary of 60k plus uncapped yearly incentive plan).

*Sign-on bonus to be paid after 6 months of employment*

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IV Suite Coordination:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our IV Suite, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Lead inventory management and maintenance od essential supplies, guaranteeing seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to promote IV Suite services and drive patient engagement.
  • Develop strategies to optimize patient volume and revenue, maximizing the impact of our services.
  • Champion a culture of quality improvement and patient safety, driving excellence at every level.

Clinical Education:

  • Mentor and supervise students and residents during the clinical IV rotations, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Update and refine IV shift course content to align with evolving best practices and program outcomes.
  • Provide timely feedback and evaluations for students and residents, guiding their development as future healthcare professionals.

Patient Care:

  • Serve as a leader in our Medical Center, delivering compassionate and seamlessly coordinated patient care.
  • Act decisively in medical emergencies, demonstrating expertise and unwavering professionalism at all times.
  • Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety protocols, setting an example for all staff, faculty and students.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Active and unrestricted Arizona license to practice naturopathic medicine, license to dispense, and valid DEA number
  2. Maintain current ACLS and BLS certificates
  3. MMR, TB, Hepatitis B, and COVID-19 documentation, as per Sonoran University and Medical Center policies
  4. Complete mandatory annual trainings including, but not limited to, HIPAA, FERPA, OSHA, TB education, etc.
  5. Minimum three years of post-graduate healthcare experience preferred.


Background/Screening

All employees at Sonoran University undergo a background and drug screen prior to hire. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory outcome of all screens required of this position. As we are a medical institution, we require copies of immunization records and/or may require titers or proof of recent inoculations if adequate information is not provided.

The Neil Riordan Center for Regenerative Medicine focuses on non-opioid solutions to pain and pain management. Treatments range from cupping and acupuncture to regenerative injection therapies.
