Air Barrier Superintendent

The responsibilities and requirements for the position of Air Barrier Superintendent are not limited to what's below:

Responsibilities

● Oversee the timely and quality installation of contracted work of either a total project or a

particular scope, trade contractor, or portion of a project

● Implement a culture of safety and quality among Cameron employees and sub-contractors and

conduct regular safety inspections to ensure all work conditions are in compliance with

company, contract and government regulations

● Create and manage a plan to successfully sequence work, manage jobsite logistics and

track materials and personnel

● Ensure a high quality of work consistent with project and company standards

● Develop, update and communicate the project schedule and exhibit a command of critical

schedule milestones with PM

● Possess working knowledge of the subcontracts and vendor agreements

● Participate in close-out activities including punch list and building operations training

● Coordinate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to develop detailed project

plans and schedules.

● Monitor project progress, identify potential issues and implement effective strategies to

resolve any concerns.

Resource Management

● Effectively allocate resources, including manpower, equipment and materials, to ensure

optimal project performance.

● Perform regular inspections of project sites to ensure compliance with safety and

environmental regulations.

Requirements

● Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Fluid Applied and Self Adhered Air Barriers with a proven

track record of managing large-scale commercial projects.

● Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage

diverse teams effectively.

● Level 3 ABAA Certification.

● Solid understanding of sequencing, scheduling and architectural details within the air barrier scope of work.

● Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

● Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project locations as required.
