Construction Superintendent Residential Renovations

Can you evaluate the situation and determine the right thing to do.

The Superintendent will work directly with the Owner and Production Manager to learn and interact while implementing best processes to manage new and existing renovation projects . This is a wonderful position for someone who is just starting to realize their potential and desires to be implemental in running a thriving residential Design/Build company. Your Job

· Manage 6-12 projects in various stages of completion: primarily bathrooms, kitchens, basements, and additions

. You will manage jobs in Federal Hill, Canton, Catonsville, Ellicott City , Reisterstown, and Owings Mills

· Thoroughly learn and understand the scopes of work for each job.

· Work with in-house designers to create pre-construction documents for sub-contractors

· Meet with customers regularly to ensure their expectations are being met

· Order materials for trim, doors, and windows

· Write daily wrap and take progress pictures up to identify work completed each day and what needs to be done the next day

· Look for issues at each job. Identify concerns before they become a problem

· Understand that if framing is not perfect, the job won't be perfect

· Ability to stay calm and professional and listen if a customer becomes upset

· Schedule pre-construction site visits of jobs scheduled for construction

· Oversee construction schedule, budget, and insure project is completed within deadline and on budget

· Perform final quality control inspection before completing punch walk through with customer

. Reconcile estimate/scope of work at final completion of job

Requirements Include

· High School Diploma, Builder Trend experience a plus

· Reliable Transportation. Jobs will primarily be in Federal Hill, Canton, Catonsville, Ellicott City, and Reisterstown

. Positive attitude with tons of initiative

. You see the opportunities everywhere

· Ability to read simple floor plans

· A working understanding of Google Drive, Word Docs, Spreadsheets, and experience with Builder Trend

· Must have a positive attitude, a wiliness to be taught and a strong desire to show up on time, work hard and learn the design/build business

. Can empathize with customers while representing our company

· Highly organized. Excellent communication skills

Hours and Compensation

· Monday thru Friday 8-4

· Salary range is $ 60,000-$68,000 based on experience

· Week of paid vacation after first year

. Paid week off between Christmas and New Year's

. 401 K After First Year

· Mileage reimbursed
