Associate Attorney

Position: Attorney to practice in Civil Defense Litigation

We are seeking a skilled and motivated attorney to join our dynamic legal team at Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC in our Indianapolis office location. The ideal candidate will have expertise in insurance defense and coverage litigation, demonstrating a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations. However, the right candidate with at least one year to three years of civil litigation experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel and representation in insurance defense cases.

- Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and advise clients accordingly.

- Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry trends and developments.

- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and negotiations.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.

- Proven experience (1-3 years) in insurance defense and coverage work preferred, but candidates with at least one year to three years of civil litigation experience will be considered.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
