Experienced Service Technician:

Market Basket Excel Refrigeration is currently seeking individuals to join our team and work with our current team of seasoned technicians to help install, repair and maintain Supermarket Refrigeration equipment. This individual will work with our Excel Management team to complete daily service needs for our busy supermarkets and help to maintain our goals of best service for our valued shopping customers.

Job Requirements:

Must have:

· Minimum 3-5 years refrigeration experience.

· Valid Driver License.

· EPA Type I and II

· Prior experience in refrigeration and electrical related systems

· A thorough understanding of the refrigeration cycle and its components

· Ability to understand electrical schematics.

· Installation experience.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Strong record keeping and organizational skills.

· Motivated and independent worker.

· Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.

· Time management skills.

· Adept at multi-tasking to varying tasks.

· On-Call availability.

· Some Weekends on a rotational basis.

Should have familiarity with:

· Knowledge with Hill Pheonix, Zero Zone, Hussman and other parallel rack systems.

· Evaporating style condensers.

· Air cooled condensers.

· Glycol systems.

· Trillium Hybrid systems.

· Self-contained units

· Danfoss refrigeration controllers

· Danfoss case controllers and their operation.

· CO2 systems.

· Compound rack systems.

· Ability to locate and repair refrigerant leaks.

· Parts ordering.

· Brazing techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
