Accounting Manager

Our amazing client in the real estate industry is searching for an accounting manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role within the Corporate Finance team. You will serve as the main point of contact for our fund administrator, analyzing reports, managing financial statements, and collaborating with external auditors. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.  Expected starting base salary $90,000 to $125,000 per year. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.

• Review deliverables prepared by fund administrators.

• Ensure accurate and timely quarterly corporate financial reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

• Develop strategic insights based on real-time data to support agile processes.

• Conduct research on accounting and compliance-related issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Exemplary computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables).

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Attention to detail and ability to meet reporting deadlines.

• Familiarity with fair value accounting and reporting of commercial real estate investments to institutional pension funds.

• High level of integrity, dependability, accountability, and respect.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

• 4+ years of accounting experience.
