Pharmacist In Charge (PIC)

We seek a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to join our team! You will be responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing all pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing.
• Providing excellent customer service and medication counseling.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
• Leading and supervising a team of pharmacy technicians.
• Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining records.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to optimize patient care.
• Implementing quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of pharmacy practice.

​Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Texas
• Prior experience working in a retail pharmacy, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management software and other relevant technology.
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Willingness to stay updated on developments in the field of pharmacy practice through continuing education and professional development.
