We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Foreman to join our team in Jonesboro, AR. As the Electrical Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electricians and ensuring the successful execution of large scale commercial electrical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Direct and supervise a team of electricians, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to project specifications.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and coordinate electrical work on large scale commercial projects.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications to guide the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a secure work environment for all team members.
- Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel and materials, to meet project timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to electricians, promoting professional growth and development within the team.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve on-site challenges, making quick decisions to keep the project on track.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and material requisitions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman overseeing large scale commercial projects.
- License: Valid electrical journeyman license.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, components, and codes.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Safety Certification: OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues on-site.
- Organization: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
